Frequently Asked Questions

How will Quench create a nationwide program for my business?

Quench’s National Accounts Program provides you with a single point of contact to streamline the design process through implementation. After you request a proposal, one of our Quench national account sales representatives will reach out to you via email to schedule a 10-15 minute conversation to discuss your business’s water, ice, and sparkling water needs. During your initial discovery call, your Quench representative will provide preliminary system recommendations and pricing. After the initial phone consultation, your National Accounts Rep may request an on-site visit to gather additional information. They will then create a custom proposal for all applicable drinking water coolers, ice machines, and sparkling water systems to meet your requirements across all locations.

What is a filtered drinking water cooler or dispenser?

A water cooler or dispenser is a machine that dispenses safe, filtered drinking water on demand, typically in offices and workplaces. A point-of-use dispenser is plumbed into an existing water supply to provide an unlimited stream of safer drinking water. Traditional water coolers and dispensers can often be cheaply made, have limited options, and be bad for the environment. With Quench, not only is each machine built with high-quality materials where users can choose between ambient, extra hot, and sparkling water, but its unique technology delivers unrivaled water filtration and protection.

How does a water cooler work?

Quench water dispensers connect directly to your building’s existing water supply. As the water is pulled into the system, it passes through several stages of filtration, which often include a carbon filter and a reverse osmosis filter. Once your water is clean of harmful contaminants, our water coolers will add back beneficial minerals and electrolytes like calcium, magnesium, potassium, and sodium. Users can then enjoy freshly-filtered, great-tasting water.

Who services Quench machines and replaces the filters?

Whether you’re looking for just one or multiple filtered water dispensers and ice makers, full-time Quench technicians are trained to handle the most complicated installations without disturbing your guests. One of our certified Quench-badged technicians will also routinely conduct an 11-point inspection and maintenance service on your drinking water solution from Quench to ensure everything is in working condition.

How much money can Quench systems save my business?

Our customers save 30 to 80% of their water cooler costs. With the high markup of water cooler prices, 90% of what consumers pay for bottled water goes toward bottling, shipping, marketing, profit, and other hidden costs — not on the water itself. With Quench, our fixed monthly rental and planned maintenance ensure you have no hidden expenses in your water price that can cause spikes in your company’s spending.

How can a Quench machine help me meet my sustainability goals?

With our bottleless water dispensers, we have gone out of our way to remove the reliance on single-use plastic, reduce energy consumption, eliminate emissions from unnecessary transportation, use non-toxic and natural materials, and limit waste.

Just one Quench bottleless water cooler can save 7,000+ single-use plastic bottles from ending up in landfills or our oceans each year. Plus, offices that replace single-use plastic bottles with Quench bottleless water coolers are also responsible for 95% fewer tons of CO2 emissions every year (for an office of 50 daily users).

Are Quench filters NSF-certified?

Our commitment to filtration, quality, and security is backed by independent third parties. Our filters have been tried, tested, and approved by top standards, so you can have complete confidence in our products.

Quench machines have the following certifications. Please note: Certificates vary depending on different models or products.
