Installing a new Quench machine in your workplace is simple and straightforward.

Over the last 25 years, we’ve installed more than 100,000 water coolers and ice dispensers in settings as varied as professional offices, retail stores, showrooms, warehouses, distribution centers, hospitals, and schools.

Our service technicians undergo extensive training at our own Quench university and are fully insured. So that you know you are in good hands.

A Quench cooler can be situated just about anywhere that you need drinking water, as long as there is a suitable electrical outlet and a water source somewhere in the building. Have very high ceilings or a water source that’s a up to 200 feet away? No problem! Our installing service technician can still have your Quench machine up and running quickly and with minimal disruption to your business. Most standard installations can be completed in less than an hour.

The first thing your Quench technician will do is to confirm the location of a typical 110-volt grounded power outlet. Next, we locate a convenient water source in your building and connect a water line from the source to the water cooler, usually a break room sink. If your Quench machine needs a drain for reverse osmosis filtration your service technician will run one to the closest drainpipe, typically in a break room sink or other close by location.

We then may install a check valve, air gap, or condensate pump, but your service technician will determine and install if necessary. The water source and drain tubing run virtually invisible behind walls, above drop ceilings or under base boards. The tubing is then fed through an opening in the wall at the machine’s location. It is neatly finished with an outlet plate, like a cable television connection. Quench uses food grade tubing and high-quality fittings and our installation work conforms to local building code requirements. Ball valves are also installed at both the water source and behind the water cooler for easy shut off and machine maintenance.

Once everything is complete, your Quench installing service technician will test the unit to make sure that it is working perfectly and then leave your space as clean as he found it.

We’ll see you again when it’s time for your Quench machine’s regular preventative maintenance, usually in a year. In the meantime, all you have to do is enjoy an endless supply of great tasting healthy Quench filtered water.

Your workforce deserves more than the minimum when it comes to viable water solutions. Water up by getting a Quench bottleless water cooler installed in your building. The bottleless water cooler installation process is quick and painless.

Installing a new Quench bottleless water dispenser in your workplace couldn’t be simpler. Over the last 20 years, we’ve installed filtered water coolers and ice dispensers in all sorts of settings; professional offices, retail stores, showrooms, warehouses, and distribution centers, hospitals, and schools.

To kick the process off, contact a Quench sales representative. That sales representative will work with you to select the best bottleless water cooler(s) for your office building. Once all parties have agreed on the best bottleless water cooler(s), a certified and insured service technician will come to your building and connect your bottleless water dispenser to your building’s water line. Our installer can have your Quench machine up and running quickly and with minimal disruption to your business. The whole process takes 1.5 hours on average.

Before you commit to Quench’s water-as-a-service solution, read our step-by-step guide below on how a bottleless water cooler installation works.

Step 1: Download and run through the pre-installation checklist.

Before one of our certified technicians install your Quench countertop water cooler and/or free-standing water cooler, there are some pre-installation requirements that vary depending on the machine you order. Download the checklist for your filtered water cooler to make sure you have a quick and smooth installation.

Step 2: You and your Quench technician work together to figure out the best place to situate your bottleless water cooler.

A highly skilled Quench technician will work with you to determine the best location for your countertop water cooler and/or free-standing water cooler. A Quench bottleless water dispenser can be situated just about anywhere you need drinking water as long as there is a grounded power outlet within 6 feet and a potable water source within 200 feet.

Step 3Technicians test the water quality.

Once technicians believe they found the best location for your countertop water cooler and/or free-standing water cooler, they test the building’s water quality and pressure. Our technicians are all insured and have undergone extensive training at our own Quench University. Therefore, you can rest assured you are in good hands. If the water pressure and water quality checks out, technicians move on to step 4.

Step 4: A water line is connected to the building’s water source and routed to the bottleless water dispenser.

If it’s not right next to the water source, and most of our 60,000 installations are not, our installer can run a water line virtually invisibly behind walls, above drop ceilings or under base boards. Quench uses only food grade tubing and high-quality fittings. Beyond that, all installation work conforms to local building code requirements. If necessary, tubing can be fed through an opening in the wall and then finished with an outlet plate, similar to a cable television connection. Ball valves are installed at either end of the bottleless water dispenser line for easy shut off and machine maintenance.

Step 5: The bottleless water dispenser is connected, and your water is on!

Finally, your Quench installer will test the unit to be certain that it is working perfectly. Once this process is complete, your Quench tech walks you through exactly how to use your new Quench countertop water cooler and/or free-standing water cooler to empower you and the rest of your workforce to stay hydrated for years to come. Your installer will then tidy up, leaving your space as clean as he found it.

Step 6: A Quench tech will routinely conduct preventive maintenance services.

As part of Quench’s comprehensive service program, a certified Quench technician will routinely conduct an 11-point inspection and maintenance service on your Quench machine to ensure your office drinking water, ice, and/or coffee is always clean and great-tasting. Preventive maintenance service calls are administered yearly for bottleless water coolers and coffee brewers and bi-annually for ice machines and most sparkling water dispensers.

Technicians are equipped with cell phones tablets running Quench’s service app to track your cooler’s information and service history. Our ERP system will automatically remind your Quench technician when your machines need maintenance. This frees up any burden from you having to remember to call your service tech for regular maintenance. Click here to review the services included in a preventative maintenance call.
